COUNSELOR

As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where personal growth can truly take root. My goal is to help you better understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that you can gain insight, identify unhelpful patterns, and begin to shift them in a way that honors your values and emotional well-being.

The journey toward change often begins by uncovering your deeper needs and discovering healthier, more empowering ways to meet them. Together, we will work to explore these needs while building tools that foster resilience, self-compassion, and greater confidence.

I specialize in working with youth ages 5 to 18, and have spent over 25 years as a dedicated public school employee, walking alongside children and families through many of life’s challenges. I bring both clinical insight and a deep understanding of school systems and youth development to my therapeutic work.

I also work with adults from all walks of life. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem, and grief—particularly in children, teens, and young adults.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I use an integrative approach—drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Strength-Based therapy, and creative arts interventions—to tailor support that meets each person’s unique needs and goals. I often incorporate therapeutic games and expressive tools to make the process approachable and engaging, especially for younger clients.

I believe in the power of self-awareness and the incredible strength it takes to grow through what you go through. Therapy isn’t just about healing—it’s about becoming the best version of yourself, with someone walking alongside you. I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
